Excellent service & everyone is so friendly there. Although the resort is a bit far from the town but AKA provides shuttle service to the town/ beaches almost every 30 mins, so I think this place is recommendable as I guess you have to sacrifice sth for a nice & relaxing resort.

This was my second time staying at the resort. While I love the resort design, ammenities and the peacefulness that the resort offers, I believe the service provided has dropped significantly compared to my first time. Staff is friendly and helpful. The place is a great place to just enjoy the natural environment, relax and spend quality time with love ones.

After 3 weeks around Thailand staying in several different 5 stars hotel, we ended up our holiday by staying in the Aka Guti Resort for 2 nights. This hotel is just out of this world....if you want just relaxation, beautiful accommodation, and a private swimming pool this is the place for you. It is away from Hua Hin town but the hotel conveniently offers free shuttle bus to the center...not that we really used, we were so enchanted with the hotel that we spent all our time in the resort. Food is excellent...service a bit in the slow side though. The villas feel very private and very convenient for a romantic holiday. Manager Sebastian was brilliant, and we want to thank him so much for offering us an upgrade and a bottle of wine for our honeymoon!! We will definetely go back to Aka Guti and hopefully stay in the same vila, but this time a bit longer!!!

การพักที่ AKA ครั้งนี้ของผม ประทับใจทีเดียว ห้องพักที่ได้มีความเป็นส่วนตัวเนื่องจากเป็นห้องมุม ภายในห้องพักก็มีอุปกรณ์อำนวยความสะดวกทุกอย่างที่จำเป็น ที่ผมชอบคือมีเคาเตอร์เล็กๆในห้อง พนักงานก็ช่วยเหลือเอาใจใส่อย่างดี และยังจำรายละเอียดเมื่อครั้งมาพักครั้งแรกได้อีก ผมโชคดีที่ช่วงที่อยู่ที่รีสอร์ท ฟ้าใสตลอด อากาศก็ไม่ร้อนมาก ลองมาดูจุดเด่นจุดด้อยในการไปพักครั้งนี้ของผมครับ

-ภายในห้องพัก deluxe ออกแบบดี เฟอร์นิเจอร์ทุกชิ้นได้รับการออกแบบมาอย่างดี ห้องกว้างไม่อึดอัด มีสระว่ายน้ำ 10 เมตร มีห้องนั่งเล่น ห้องนอน ห้องสปา และเคาเตอร์เล็กๆ
-ราคาห้องพัก ถือว่าไม่สูงมากครับ เทียบกับ Pool Villa ของรีสอร์ทอื่นๆ
-พนักงานบริการเยี่ยมครับ มี Service mind ทุกคน
-บรรยากาศในรีสอร์ท สงบ น่าพักผ่อน
จุดด้อย
-ทำเลของรีสอร์ทห่างจากทะเล ไม่เหมาะสำหรับคนที่อยากใกล้ชิดทะเล แต่ถ้าชอบวิวภูเขาจะชอบที่นี่ครับ
-ห้องดีลักส์ ออกแบบให้มีศาลาบนชั้นสอง ทำให้บางห้องมีความเป็นส่วนตัวของวิลลาลดลงครับ ผมแนะนำว่าถ้าไปที่นี่เลือกห้องริมๆ หรือห้องมุมครับ จะมีความเป็นส่วนตัวมากกว่า
-อาหารเช้าที่นี่สั่งจากเมนู ไม่ค่อยหลากหลาย และสั่งได้ชุดเดียว (ส่วน Bakery ขอเพิ่มได้นะครับถ้าทานไม่อิ่ม)
-ที่จอดรถที่นี่ น้อยมากเทียบกับจำนวนวิลลา

AKA Resort : เปิดก่อน เปิดมาแล้วประมาณ 3 ปี Villa มีจำนวนมากกว่า ตัวบ้านก็หลังใหญ่กว่า เพราะมีมีห้องสปาส่วนตัวให้อีก 1 ห้อง มีศาลา day bed อยู่ชั้น 2 และมีรั้วรอบขอบชิดทำให้มีความเเป็นส่วนตัวมากกว่า แต่ต้องหาห้องมุมๆ นะคะ เพราะถ้าห้องที่อยู่ตรงกลางๆ เวลาเพื่อนบ้านขึ้นไปบนศาลาday-bed ชั้น 2 ก็อาจจะเห็นเราว่ายน้ำเล่นได้ แนะนำห้องที่อยู่โซนหัวมุมหรือด้านหลังค่ะ ตอนนั้นเราไปพักห้อง 135 ก็ ok นะคะ
ReplyDeleteAKA Guti : เพิ่งเปิดได้ประมาณ 9 เดือน ยังใหม่อยู่ โดยรวมวิวจะสวยกว่า เพราะเห็นแนวภูเขา และเป็นจุดที่เห็นพระอาทิตย์ตกได้พอดี ห้องที่วิวสวยที่สุดและสามารถเห็นพระอาทิตย์ตกดินได้ คือห้อง 206 กับห้อง 207 ค่ะ (ห้อง two-bedroom) ที่นี่เราว่าตัว villa ภายในดูไม่กว้างเท่ากับที่ AKA นะคะ อาจจะเป็นเพราะ villa มีขนาดเล็กกว่าก็เป็นได้ และอีกอย่างสระว่ายน้ำ เราว่ามัน open มากไปหน่อยค่ะ
ไปพัก one-bedroom deluk pool villa มาแล้วทั้ง 2 ที่ก็ชอบทั้ง 2 ที่แหละแต่โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว เราชอบ AKA Resort มากกว่าที่ Guti ตรงที่ villa หลังใหญ่กว่าและก็มีรั้วรอบขอบชิดที่เป็นส่วนตัวมากกว่าอ่ะ เผื่อจะโรแมนติกกะแฟน จะได้ไม่มีคนมาเห็นไง อิ..อิ
I have stayed at AKA Hua Hin - next door - and it is wonderful. The Guti was not open then. It is quite away from the beach and any civilisation (excluding the uninspiring, dirty Thai village nearby). 20 mins by taxi, and quite often it is hard to get back as the taxi drivers dont like taking you there (or they charge relatively very high prices as they know you can afford it and you have no choice!
ReplyDeleteits the kind of place you go if you want to be away from it all with a loved one, there is nothing to do apart from relax, so take a few books and a pack of cards!
Both AKA resorts are quite small, they look bigger on the web. Service was hit and miss, food avaerage - and your trapped here if you dont have transport-
would I go back - Yes, i loved the minimalist style (and I hire a car for $15 a day from Hua Hin)
